Scary Movie and First Kiss

Signs abound of the imminent arrival of the Fair One. First, Carolyn is developing a powerful nesting instinct and realizing that there are tons of things left to prepare for the birth. Second, a friend of ours, who was originally due only a day or two before us, just had her baby. They are both healthy.

But the biggest sign is the Tuesday night prenatal class we began last week. Once a week for four weeks from 7-9, we make the short trek to the Mater Mother’s Hospital with about 20 other couples. Honestly, Brian doesn’t remember much of the first class, except for the scary movie they showed at the end. It was a documentary following a few women as they went through labor and IT DID NOT LOOK LIKE FUN!!! He is not sure how he is going to make it.

Carolyn didn’t see anything to be worried about.

On the lighter side of life, we caught Célia’s first kiss on film. We don’t know the name of the lucky fella, but his parents promise to give him a name soon, because he is due any day now. The picture is of Carolyn and her friend Tahna Dunn in Tanha’s living room.
