Highs and Lows

It’s been a week of ups and downs for the Adamses. Remember the clutch that Brian and his friend fixed back in October (see Oct. 16, 2005 blog)? Well, it has broken again; the same problem as before. So we decided to take it in to a mechanic this time to see if the real problem could be identified and fixed.

We also found out that the person buying our apartment (see Feb. 04, 2006 blog) has decided to move in when our contract expires in June. So it looks like we are moving again!

Célia Marie has moved into her own bedroom this weekend. Now her parents can sleep without waking at every grunt or squawk. It’s amazing how much noise a little baby can make while sleeping. It was a tough adjustment for Carolyn who suffered a bout of separation anxiety, but all is well now. Célia seemed to adjust without any problem.

Célia continues to grow ever more adorable, most likely due to the fact that she’s sleeping for longer periods at night and is learning to put herself to sleep. We can tell she is going to be very intelligent. Her coordination is getting very good and she loves to look around at everything. She laughs and smiles and talks quite a bit. But the most important sign is that she thinks her mom is the greatest. Carolyn can do almost anything and Célia will smile and try to tell her how happy she is. Brian has tough time leaving them in the morning to go to work or school.

Stay tuned next week for the First Annual Adams Easter Camping Bonanza!
